There will be transformation across the country of 8,872 Microsoft stores and 119 care centres said by T.S.Sridhar, director of Nokia India sales Pvt Ltd, south zone, and subsidiary of Microsoft mobile.
By the end of this month, 441 outlets will get a completely new design and remaining stores will be refreshed with new signage.
He said out of 441 retails stores 99 are in south India which offers ‘Touch & Feel’ experience to customers, these types of stores are in the priority list of Microsoft.
In south India, total 13 stores are in Hyderabad and 16 are in other parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Microsoft Lumia 540 is also launched by the company for further augmenting the potfolio of Lumia smartphone.
Microsoft Lumia 540 comes with Windows 8.1, including various freebies worth of Rs 3000 (including Gana, Airtel data, PayTm and ola cashback offers), and is prices at Rs 10,199.
Microsoft Lumia 540 can also be upgraded to Windows 10 by the end of this year.
The director also said that out of 11 Lumia devices 5 are Microsoft branded which have been launched since October 2014.
